Conversion of an existing office building, into a specialist SEN School

 

Works comprised of brand new teaching facilities, communal kitchen and dining areas, play ground and Muga pitch play areas

 

All works were completed within a 7month period, and the school had its Ofsted inspection April 2025

 

Howard Grady Associates were appointed as Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors based on an Intermediate contract

Conversion of an existing manor house, into a specialist SEN School

 

Works comprised of brand new teaching facilities, communal kitchen and dining areas, play grounds, Muga pitch play areas and brand new parking facilities

 

The works were carefully completed in partnership with Heritage England due to Bats being present and careful consideration for the existing features of the building and surrounding areas

Client: Pearson Solicitors

 

Conversion of an existing building, into brand new offices in the heart of Uppermill

 

The building is split into 6 offices, meeting spaces, staff room and toilets

 

A brand new car park has been created at the rear for use by their customers

 

All works were undertaken within a 7 month period and completed April 2025

 

Howard Grady Associates were appointed as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor, under the Intermediate contract

Convert existing farmhouse into detached house, including external works, and timber stable block,  Mount Sorrell, Dobcross, Saddleworth 

 

Contract Sum: £500,000

Contract: Intermediate Contract 

Client: Private Client

 

Conversion of an existing farm house, into a 3 bed detached house spread out over 3 floors

 

A large garden room extension has been built at the rear, overlooking the scenic village of Dobcross and surrounding hills

 

The house has been completely remodelled, including underfloor heating, 3 ensuites / bathrooms and open plan kitchen layout

 

Externally, it has been remodelled to include an electric gate, timber stables and the installation of solar panels

 

The House was completed December 2024,  with the externals being remodelled April 2025
